The difference type between Class N autoclave and Class B autoclave

Briefly speaking, it matters with whether the steam has the ability to sterilize the items’ depth and Aperture.

  • The autoclave without vacuum function: It’s mainly utilized in the flash application for raw instruments.
  • The autoclave with vacuum function: It will make the sterilization of wrapped hollow instruments more complete.

In fact, the times of vacuum don’t mean that much. It’s more about whether the sterilization items could pass the trials to prove its sterilizing ability. (With more times of vacuum, we simply hope to approach the demanded parameter more. There are odds to reach the parameter with one time vacuum.)

According to different instruments’ length and aperture (as beneath), vacuum autoclave needs to reach the standard of EN13060’s Hollow A Test. EQUS makes use of GKE (Germany)’s sterilization detect tube to perform product detection. EQUS vacuum autoclaves (TAT-202B, TAT-203C, TEV-17) all pass European BD-Test and American BD-Test.
